Welcome to KitesurfingAfrica.org, a non-profit community-created website serving the needs of kitesurfers in South Africa, Namibia, and the rest of Africa's beautiful coastline and inland waterways.
We encourage you to participate on this website! Add photos, share your experiences, spread the kitesurfing vibe...
KitesurfingAfrica.org is an OPEN CONTENT website, intended to be the most useful resource for all kitesurfers in Africa (residents and visitors).
The site is intended to serve everyone equally (including kitesurfing industry members), and is minimally moderated.
The site was started and is maintained and hosted by Matthew Swart, a long-time windsurfer who has recently discovered bow kites and directional kiteboards, the ULTIMATE combo for waveriding innovation!
This is the sister website to the popular WindsurfingAfrica.org

Hi Matthew,
I thought I was the only windsurfer that has crossed over! Phew! I am really enjoying kiting - especially on the flat inland waters. I will bring the kite down to Cape Town in December but I fear that I will need a 7 (only have a 10 bow at the moment).
Good job with the two sites!

Hey Matthew,
Once again you have excelled yourself. Well done on getting the sister site up, now we just need to update the spot guide, I suppose!
Viva kitesailing and windsurfing, two sports that can live together in harmony, out there in the wind and on the ocean.

TOP Man ... will be good for internationals as well. At least there is another site now ...please make sure you remain objective ...DONT sell your sole  cool site

Ja the spot guides are highly viewed on windsurfingafrica.org, so any updates would be appreciated by everyone. Please post a few sentances about your local spot when you're feeling inspired! (or email us and we'll post it) photos are a bonus.
this site is totally open and unmoderated, 100% pure kiting!
