Hey all.
I just so stoked that an african kiteforum is now available, i have been using ikiteboarding.com which is also good but we can never complain of having too many kitesurfing forums, especially ones that revolve around your own country. For me its great and much appreciated as I am south african but have been living in Turkey for the past few years so its always good to hear from and help dellow africans.
Matthew, congrats and excellent work done, on creating such a useful site for us to keep updated with the latest. I hope to see lots of pics and looking forward to hearing all the great stories about wind conditions, waves, and everything else that revolves around kiting in SA.
Cheers
Saffir

Hey Matthew,
Yeah Turkey is pretty big in kitesurfing these days, unfortunatelly not really any waves in summer, but only in winter but nothing compared to SA. I stay in Antalya about 5hrs drive from Bodrum, but our whole coastline on the west coast is pretty good and have lots of wind, especially in a place called Fethiye and Cesme. I can send you some links for you to check out regarding beaches and all. Im pretty new to the sport, did my course this year in May but I just cant wait to get to SA in hold on, 80 days time, and we there for 2 months, so gonna practice kiting big time. Anyway good site and im gonna let some other dudes on other forums know about this site. Being abroad from my home country, South Africa, please put regular pictures of scenery, or kiting beaches or anything relating to SA as I miss the place so much, home sweet home.
Cheers mate
