G'day fellas,

I'll be in Jo'berg from Thurday 7 December till Saturday 9 December with nothing to do but kite.

Interested in hooking up with some local kiters for a trip to the dams.

Not sure where the Palazzo is relative to Val dam, or anything else for that matter.

Is it cool to hire a car and just drive around looking for Val dam?

See youse.

Hello Kiter,

Can you submite a video of your spot at www.youkiteboard.com
Many kitters would like to know the wind condition and so forth...Thanks

Hi,

Sorry; I may not have been as clear as I intended.

I don't live in Africa. I live in Singapore as an expat, and will be coming to Jo'berg as airline crew on a layover during the dates above. I was hoping to bring my kite or kites and perhaps get a lift with some locally based Jo'berg kiters to one of the dams in the area.

No video of 'my spot' available I'm afraid.

I'm in Taipei right now, where the wind is just a little too strong. Wretched typhoon down in the South China Sea is sucking wind through the funnel that is the Taiwan Strait. I'm on the west side, at a beach called Guan Yin. It's just south of Siafu, if you like to check www.buoyweather.com

Hope to see someone in Africa.

Bye for now.

Dave

Whoops.

Make that 'Hsin Chu' on the Southern Map of Asia's China link, if you're looking at buoyweather.com

Siafu can be found on windguru.com
